How it Began
Allen's parents have been going to bluegrass events for over 30 years and in 1999 they talked him into going with them to Turkey Track in Arkansas.  Rosemary had to stay home and when Allen returned, he told Rosemary he would like to turn their property into a Bluegrass Park and have a festival the following year!

Their property was a forest of natural trees that would provide ample shade and with the help of family the park was ready for the 1st festival.

The big worry was "Who Would Come?"  But they did come and just keep coming!

We have been so blessed with all the wonderful friends we have gained.  People keep telling us, "There is something about this place that is so relaxing."

The events we plan are family oriented events and very relaxed. We have 32 acres of land that is about 1 1/2 miles off I-35 that the campers can walk around and enjoy the beautiful views.

If you love the "Old-Time" Bluegrass and Gospel Music, this is the place for you!

If you are learning an acoustical instrument, jams can be your best teacher.  We always have people that are just learning and ones that have been playing for years.

Allen is one of the lucky few that can play a little on any thing that has
strings . And if there's a jam he'll find it or hide out in it. Now me, I tried to play the bass but found out that I'm better at visting and it's best to leave the jamming to Allen which he loves to do And somebody has to do the work and make sure every thing is ok .

We welcome new people as if they were family and want you to feel at home while your here. We would love to have you come and join in the fun, or just come by for a visit and see the park anytime .

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
